The Canada Super Visa is a multiple entry visa for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. It allows current super visa holders to visit Canada for up to 5 years at a time
1) Relationship to the Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident:
To be eligible for a Canada Super Visa, the applicant must be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
2) Invitation Letter:
The Canadian citizen or permanent resident must provide a written invitation to the parent or grandparent, including a promise of financial support and a commitment to provide care and support during their stay in Canada.
3) Super Visa Insurance:
The applicant must obtain private medical insurance coverage from a Canadian insurance company. The insurance must be valid for at least one year, provide coverage for health care, hospitalization, and repatriation and provide a minimum of $100,000of emergency coverage.
4)Financial Support:
The sponsor (Canadian citizen or permanent resident) must meet the minimum income requirements to demonstrate the ability to support the parent or grandparent financially during their stay.
5)Other General Entry Requirements:
The applicant must meet general entry requirements, including being in good health and not posing a security risk and must return to their home country.
